Crab dip is quick and easy to make. When buying crab meat, look for jumbo lump. It's the best quality to use. Also watch out for the word surimi, which is not crab meat but other fish meat passed off as crab meat. Sort of like the punch outs that get passed of as scallops. So check those labels, it has to be on there by law. Some crab meat even contains a percentage of surimi which makes it cheaper for the seller, but you are not getting what you went shopping for. Let's get on to the recipe.Items needed: 1 8oz. package cream cheese. 1/3 cup cream. 6-8 oz. crab meat. 1 clove garlic, crushed. 2 tspns. lemon juice. 1 1/2 tspns. Worcestershire sauce. salt, pepper and cayenne. Place cram cheese in a small mixing bowl. Cook in microwave 30-60 seconds until soft. Blend in all other ingredients. Cook in microwave oven 3-4 minutes until bubbly hot.
