Easy fudge recipes
Still one of my favorite fudge recipes. I don't know how old it is but my grandmother had been making it since the 50s. She used to make it for me when I stayed over night during the week. This page is dedicated to her.Items needed: 8x8 glass dish Medium sauce pan or double boiler. 1 lb. box of powdered sugar or 5 cups. 1/2 cup cocoa. 6 Tblspns. butter or margarine. 4 Tblspns milk. whatever % is fine. 1 Tblspn vanilla. In a double boiler or a regular sauce pan over low heat, combine all ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon or favorite mixing utensil. Add a glob of peanut butter to taste and mix in. Remove from heat and pour into 8x8 glass dish and refrigerate to allow cooling and set time. Enjoy. Note: Move quickly, the addition of peanut butter causes it to set up faster. Of course you can add nuts and other stuff to it but we liked it the plain way.
