These grilled salmon recipes are so quick and easy. A healthy choice.
We have very simple grilled salmon recipes. You can do these for yourself or for a large party, your guests will think you went to culinary school. It's easier if you can find boneless and skinless salmon fillets, around 6 oz. is perfect portion size. Cooking time for our grilled salmon recipes take about 2-4 minutes per side and it's o.k. if it gets a little charred on the outside but not too much. There are a few different types of salmon to choose from. There is Norwegian which is sweet and melts in your mouth. It is normally farm raised which is why the quality is so consistent and many restaurants use this kind. There is Wild Koho which is more earthy in flavor, and there is Sockeye which is Alaskan and is very lean, cut cooking time in half. Chilean is another kind which is largely found in grocery stores and a suitable substitute but the quality isn't as consistent. The wild caught has more omega 3 fatty acids than the farm raised so it is the
healthier
choice. I mostly use the boneless, skinless Norwegian because of the taste. Remember to always keep your grates on your grill oiled. I found the perfect grill wipes at Lowe's, I didn't have good success with the Pam cooking spray, it gets all over the outside of my grill especially on the knobs. Enjoy these salmon recipes.
