Hot Dog Recipes
Hot dogs have been a part of American culture for a long time and are in arguments about who has the best one and at which baseball park. I think the best hot dog is the all beef Kosher hot dog. If you have never had one, it's worth a try. The hot dog comes in different qualities just like beef does as described on the
beef page.
Don't just group all hot dogs together as being the same. Ball Park brand seems to be the most commercialized one out there but there are certainly better hot dogs than that. You may have watched the hot dog eating contest on TV, if you can stomach to watch this display. It was sponsored by Nathan's, which many people will argue is the best. I go back to the old conclusion that we all have different taste, so eat what tastes good to you.
Snappy Hot Dog AppetizerWe make this hot dog appetizer for football games or hockey games. It goes well with our nacho recipe , of course.Items Needed: Hot dogs, sliced length wise, 3/4 way through. Velveeta. Salsa or relish. Green onions, diced. Place hot dogs on a cookie sheet. Place 1/2 slice of Velveeta in each hot dog. Bake in oven 5-8 minutes at 350. Remove from oven and add salsa , relish , green onions. Serve and enjoy.
