This nacho recipe serves 4 people.Items needed: 1/2 lb. ground beef. 1/2 cup of your favorite salsa. 4 cups tortilla chips. 1 cup shredded Mexican style cheese, or your favorite kind. Toppings: sliced green onion, chopped tomato, sliced jalapeno peppers, sliced, pitted black olives, sour cream, guacamole, chopped green pepper. In a skillet, brown the ground meat. Stir in salsa and simmer for 2 minutes. Arrange chips on a microwavable plate. top with meat mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Microwave for 2-3 until cheese is melteed. Top with toppings of your choice mentioned above. Grab the beverage of your choice and enjoy. Goes great with a good lager beer, if you're old enough to drink. Note: If lactose intolerant, you can substitute Velveeta for cheese. Since you cant shred Velveeta, cut a slice into 4 squares. I use about 3-4 slices for a plate of nachos. Takes less time to melt, about 45 seconds to a minute in the microwave. I also like to use bacon bits on my nachos.
